2021

Dr. Silberman won the Long Course Aquabike United States National Championship in his age group on September 26 in Stony Point New York.

Dr. Silberman won the Peasantman Half Steel Aquabike on August 15.

Dr. Silberman placed 3rd in the Steelman Aquabike on August 8.

Dr. Silberman won the Strive Aquabike on July 25.

Dr. Silberman won his age group at Tri Mountain Lake on July 17.

Dr. Silberman placed first in his age group at the Nav-e-sink Swim Distance Festival 2.4 mile swim on May 30.  Congrats to all who competed in 48 degree rain Memorial Weekend weather.

2019
Dr. Silberman placed 1st in his age group at the Westfield Turkey 5 Miler.

Dr. Silberman placed 2nd in his age group at the Princeton Half Marathon on November 3.

Dr. Silberman met the qualifying standard for guaranteed entry into the New York City Marathon and Half Marathon with his performance at the Shades of Death Half Marathon on Oct 13.

Dr. Silberman won his age group at the Scenic Franklin Lakes Half Marathon on Sep. 29.

Dr. Silberman won his age group (7th overall) at the Coney Island Half Marathon on July 14.

Dr. Silberman won the Patriot Family 5km in Bridgewater on June 15.

Dr. Silberman won the Freedom House 5km in Bridgewater on May 11.

Dr. Silberman received an invitation to run in the NYRR Brooklyn Half Marathon.

Dr. Silberman has been invited to speak at the Annual AMSSM Conference in Texas.

Running camp in Costa Rica was a success with over 60 miles of running on mountainous trails.


2018
Dr. Silberman placed 3rd overall in the Valerie Fund 5km on June 9.

Dr. Silberman won the Nemacolin Woodlands 5km Memorial Weekend.

Dr. Silberman presented Road Bicycling at the 2018 Annual AMSSM Sports Medicine Conference in Orlando.

Dr. Silberman ran a personal best and qualified for the Boston Marathon with a time of 3:00:27 at the Myrtle Beach Marathon on March 3, placing 17th overall and 3rd in his age group.

Dr. Silberman met the qualifying time standard for guaranteed entry into the TSC NYC Marathon
with his run in the Fred Lebow Manhattan Half in January.

Dr. Silberman has been awarded the title All American by USA Triathlon for the 2017 Season.


2017
Dr. Silberman has been invited to speak on Road Bicycling at the 2018 Annual AMSSM Sports Medicine Conference in Orlando in April.

Dr. Silberman placed third overall at the 31st Annual Skylands Triathlon at Spruce Run, NJ.

Dr. Silberman placed third overall at the Pass It Along Triathlon in Sparta, NJ.

Dr. Silberman placed third overall at the Tri Mountain Lake Triathlon in Liberty, NJ.

Dr. Silberman placed first in his age group at the 2XU White Mountain Triathlon in Franconia, New Hampshire.

Dr. Silberman placed first in his age group at the Jersey Man Half Lite Triathlon.

Dr. Silberman placed first in his age group and 5th overall at the Iberoamerican Championships in Havana, Cuba.

Dr. Silberman has been accepted and joined the staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Dr. Silberman has been awarded the title All American by USA Triathlon for the 2016 season.


2016
Dr. Silberman placed 3rd in his age group and 15th overall at NYRR's Race to Deliver on November 20.

Dr. Silberman placed 1st in his age group at the Princeton Half Marathon on November 6.

Dr. Silberman placed 6th overall at the Halloween Half in Morristown on October 16 and met the
qualifying standard for guaranteed entry into the NYC Marathon.

Dr. Silberman placed 4th overall in the Skylands Olympic Triathlon at Spruce Run, September 18.

Dr. Silberman placed 5th overall in the Olympic Triathlon at the Jersey City Tri on August 21.

Dr. Silberman placed 2nd overall at the Tri Mountain Triathlon in Liberty, NJ on July 16.

Dr. Silberman presented It's Not All Shin Splints at the ANJC Physical Rehab and Performance Council's sports series on April 19, 2016 in Morristown.

Dr. Silberman presented Performance Testing in Cycling on March 3  in Morristown at Atlantic Health Sports Medicine sponsored by High Gear Cyclery.

Dr. Silberman discussed Stress Fractures on January 28 at a conference at Ridge High School addressing the current epidemic of overuse injuries seen in High School athletes.

Dr. Silberman's chapter on Road Cycling was accepted for the upcoming Netter's Sports Medicine textbook, 2nd edition.


2015
Dr. Silberman won the PanCan Purple Stride 5km in Parsippany on November 8.

Dr. Silberman's 2013 article Bicycling Injuries in Current Sports Medicine Reports was plagiarized verbatim by the Team Physician of a European Continental Cycling Team in chapter of a book published by Springer, entitled The Expert View On Bicycling Injuries.

Dr. Silberman has been invited again to author the chapter on bicycling injuries in the upcoming 2nd edition of Netter's Sports Medicine textbook.

Dr. Silberman placed 13th overall and 2nd in his age group in the NYRR 10km Spring Meltdown on March 29.

Dr. Silberman placed 30th overall in the NYRR Fred Lebow Half Marathon in Central Park on January 25 and met the qualifying standard for automatic entry into the 2016 NYC Marathon and the qualifying time standard for automatic entry into the 2016 NYC Half Marathon.

Dr. Silberman presented: 'The Multisport Athlete: Risks, Injury, and Prevention' at the Atlantic Health Sports Medicine Lecture Series on January 26.

Dr. Silberman placed 2nd in his age group at the NYRR Joe Kleinerman 10km on January 10.


2014
Dr. Silberman earned the title of All American by USA Triathlon for the 2014 Season.

Dr. Silberman has been certified with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), the globally recognized standard of excellence in sonography, in the speciality of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound after passing the examination in October with a score of 642 out of 700.

Dr. Silberman has been hired as the Plainfield High School football team physician.

Dr. Silberman scored among the top in passing the Sports Medicine recertification board examination in July.

Dr. Silberman won the Anthracite Olympic Triathlon in Jim Thorpe, PA on July 20th.

Dr. Silberman placed 3rd in his age group at the NYRR Run as One Four Miler (PR) in April and NYRR Gridiron Four Miler in February.

Dr. Silberman placed 7th overall at the NYRR Spring Meltdown 15km Club Race in March.


2013
Dr. Silberman presented Common Cycling Injuries at the Atlantic Health Sports Medicine Lecture Series on November 25, 2013.

Dr. Silberman's article Bicycling Injuries was published in Current Sports Medicine Reports September/October 2013 - Volume 12, Issue 5.

Dr. Silberman placed 2nd overall in the HITS North Country Full Aquavelo in Hague, NY (Lake George) on June 29.

Dr. Silberman was the 3rd Overall male swimmer in th 2.4mile Lap the Lake swim in Wycoff on June 8 and the 3rd Overall runner in the 10km Woodcliff Lake Run for Education on June 9.

Dr.Silberman won the Jersey Man Aquavelo May 18.

Dr. Silberman met the qualify standard (BQ10) for the 2014 Boston Marathon at the Bi-Lo Myrtle Beach Marathon February 16.

2012
Dr. Silberman gave a talk on "Sitting Disease" at Anadigics for the CIGNA 10,000 Steps Program.

Dr. Silberman qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships with his performance in June at Ironman Tremblant 70.3.

NJ Sports Medicine and Performance Center reaches over 1 million views on YouTube.

Dr. Silberman placed 1st in his age group at the Jersey Shore Half Marathon in May.

Dr. Silberman met the qualifying standard for the 2013 Boston Marathon at the Bi-Lo Myrtle Beach Marathon February 17.

Dr. Silberman  presented 'Online Sports Physicals - The Way to Go' at the annual NJ Athletic Directors Meeting at Trump Plaza on March 14, 2012.



2011

Dr. Silberman discusses Barefoot Running on ABC News Now with Michael Sandler, author of Barefoot Running.

Dr. Silberman met the qualifying standard for the 2012 Boston Marathon at the Steamtown Marathon on October 9.

Dr. Silberman spoke on Bicycling Medicine at the Cayuga Lake Triathlon Sports Medicine Conference in Ithaca NY in August 2011.

Dr. Silberman placed 3rd overall at the SBR Triathlon in Harriman State Park in June and 3rd overall at the NYRR Sprint Triathlon in July.

Dr. Silberman presented Concussions in Sport: Mitigating Risks at the Pingry School on February 10 at an evening presented by the JohnTaylorBabbitt Foundation on Mitigating Sports Risks for Students.

Dr. Silberman gave an instructional course on Bike Fit at the annual AMSSM meeting in Utah in May 2011.

Dr. Silberman ran a 1:20:18 at the NYC Half in March 2011 and qualified for guaranteed entry into the 2012 NYC Half race.

Dr. Silberman qualified for guaranteed entry in to the 2011 NYC Marathon with his performance at the Manahattan Half in Central Park in January with a 1:22 in 14 degree weather.


2010

Dr. Silberman gave a talk on Concussions in Basketball at the School of St. Elizabeth "An Evening with Basketball Hall of Fame Coach Bobby Hurley" on Tuesday November 2, 2010.

Dr. Silberman placed 2nd overall in 2010, 3rd place overall in 2008, and 2nd overall in 2007 at the Antracite Triathlon in Jim Thorpe, PA.

Dr. Silberman won the SBR Triathlon at Harriman State Park on June 12, 2010.

Dr. Silberman gave a talk on nutrition at Seton Hall Prep on 2/18/2010 on "Muscle Foods" arranged by SHP Head Athletic Trainer Larry Baggitt.


2009

Dr. Silberman's running videos were an inspiration for the 2009 Harvard study on barefoot running.

Dr. Silberman came in 4th in his age group and 18th overall for all amateurs at the Timberman Ironman 70.3 in New Hampshire on August 23, 2009.

Dr. Silberman presented two talks at the annual AMSSM meeting in Tampa in April 2009: 1. Video Analysis of Bicycle Fit  2. Iliac Artery Disease in Cyclists.


2008

Dr. Silberman was named as a NJ Biz Forty Under 40 recipient in 2008.  The Forty Under 40 awards program honors 40 men and women who have excelled in their fields and who share a commitment to business growth, professional excellence and the community.

Dr. Silberman qualified for the 2008  Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Clearwater Florida with his performance at Eagleman 70.3 on June 8, 2008.

Dr. Silberman placed 3rd place for his age group and 22nd overall at the Jersey Shore Half Marathon on May 4, 2008.
