The Bernards Township Board of Education on July 29, 2008 approved a contract with Dr.
Silberman to be school physician for the 2008-2009 school year.
Dr. Silberman, director of NJ Sports Medicine and Performance Center, was recently named as a
NJ Biz Forty Under 40 recipient. The Forty Under 40 awards program honors 40 men and
women who have excelled in their fields and who share a commitment to business growth,
professional excellence and the community.
Dr. Silberman came in 3rd place overall at the Anthracite Triathlon on July 20, 2008. He was 2nd
overall last year.
Dr. Silberman qualified for the Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Clearwater
Florida on November 8, with his recent performance at Eagleman 70.3 on June 8, 2008.
Dr. Silberman came in 3rd place for his age group and 22nd overall at the Jersey Shore Half
Marathon on May 4, 2008.
